The annual Hamilton – Niagara’s Top Employers survey has recognized Mohawk College as one of the top ten employers in the region.
Now entering its eighth year, the title recognizes regional employers in Ontario that offer exceptional places to work. Electronic entrepreneurs gathered at McMaster University’s pub TwelvEighty for DemoCamp 14 on Monday night. The event allows local experts to present their newest apps. Many students were on hand to check out the new offerings.
DemoCamp organizer Kevin Browne says it gives app creators a chance to get feedback on their products. It also gives them a chance to talk to other app creators as well, “It’s basically just a big communal learning environment for the tech sector.”

Even before World AIDS Day on December first, Mohawk College took an early lead with a documentary and a speaker forum.
